Responsibilities & Undertakings:

I understand that:

  1. The resulting Breeding Assessment Report, associated test data and recommendations will be confidential between SRS® Alpacas International, their agents and the breeder, unless the breeder allows the release of any or all of the Breeding Assessment Report.
  2. Initially all stock on the property owned by the member are to be assessed.
  3. Alpacas should have at least 6 months of fleece growth for assessment.
  4. It is preferable that assessment should be completed prior to alpacas being joined.
  5. Herd assessment should be booked at least 1 month prior to being required.

To ensure that your herd assessment is completed in a smooth and timely manner we ask that you consider that:

  1. Provide animals for inspection on the day allocated in a dry and presentable condition.
  2. Animals are to be ready and penned before the breeding adviser arrives.
  3. Have adequate facilities and staff to allow the animals to be thoroughly inspected in a timely manner.
  4. Provide details of age, pregnancy status, sire and dam and shearing date on hand.
  5. Check with the Registered Breeding Advisor prior to visit as to requirements for meals and accommodation.
