2008 SRS® Alpacas International Subscriber Conference
June 1st to June 3rd - Wagga Wagga NSW

It is with great pleasure that we announce the 3rd annual SRS® Alpacas International Conference. This again will be held at the Riverina TAFE facility in Wagga Wagga. The 2007 conference was a resounding success with nearly 70 participants, the 6 certified breeding consultants and a number of industry related guest speakers. Two full days of presentations, demonstrations and discussions as well as an evening dinner were immensely enjoyed by all attendees. The feedback has been extremely positive with most people agreeing that this year's event was a big step up on last year. Interest from the media was strong this year with interviews being done for regional TV, ABC radio and rural press.

So the stage has been set to bring our subscribers an even bigger and better conference in 2008. To this end we aim to raise the bar again and have been working hard to ensure that we bring our subscribers a full conference program. In order to do this we have included an introductory session on the Sunday afternoon for those subscribers who have not previously attended a workshop or conference. The conference will include a large theoretical component moving forward in many areas that have been touched on in previous years as well as practical streams. This year we introduce a fleece evaluation activity and invite breeders to forward their fleeces prior to the conference to enable the assessment to be complete prior to you arriving at Wagga Wagga.
