10/06/14 - New England Alpaca Show
SRS® breeders had a good day out at the New England Show held of the recent long weekend at Uralla on the Northern Tablelands of NSW. The fleece results will be posted at a later date but in the animal classes Glenhope, Sunline and Towarri represented SRS® well with a plenty of broad ribbons.
Intermediate male (white) - second and reserve champion - Glenhope Jester
Intermediate male (light fawn) - first - Glenhope Juda
Adult male (light fawn) - first, champion, supreme champion - Glenhope Hugo
Senior male (white)- first, champion - Glenhope Griffin
Intermediate female (brown) - second - Sunline Mystique
Adult male (med/dark fawn) - first - Sunline Legend
Senior female (white) - first and champion - Sunline Juanita
Senior female (med/dark fawn) - second - Sunline Kiah
Junior male (light fawn) - first, reserve champion - Towarri Victor Mist
Intermediate female (white) - first, champion, best white - Bonnie Vale Princess Holly
Intermediate female (Brown) - first - Towarri Arctic Chocolate
Adult male (med/dark fawn) - second - Towarri Snowy
A excellent day overall with 4 championships, 2 reserve champions and the supreme champion. Of the 3 champions and 1 reserve champion, as well as the best white they were all sired by Suncloud Talahasi.
11/04/14 - Fleece Results - Sydney Royal Easter Show
Congratulations to all SRS® subscribers on their efforts at this years alpaca fleece show. They included Bumble Hill, Glenhope, Kyona, Millpaca,, Sunline, Towarri and Walkley Fields.
There were many ribbons shared and a number of broad ribbons including:
Bumble Hill- 2 Reserve Champions in the 6-18 month and 18-30 month suri classes
Glenhope - 2 Champions in the 12-18months and 48-60 months huacaya class. Also Champion fawn fleece of the show
Kyona - Champion 6-12 month huacaya fleece
Millpaca - Champion light fawn fleece of the show
